The Heart and Crown Pub on Preston Street in Ottawa has quickly become a popular destination since it first opened in 2007. The Preston Street Heart and Crown is the second one of this franchise in Ottawa. The original Heart and Crown pub is in Byward market and it started as one small Irish pub offering good drinks and good times. As the popularity of the place grew, the company acquired more space and spread into its present day form, nicknamed “the Irish Village” with 4 bars and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
The Preston Street Heart and Crown is their second location of the same name, a brand new beautiful pub and restaurant with plenty of comfortable seating both inside and outside. On most weekends all those seats are filled with people having a good time or enjoying a good meal.
In addition to having a great selection of brews, their sizable menu is features traditional Irish pub fare, combined with vegetarian options, and lighter meals like their excellent salads and sandwiches. Their sweet potato French fries are excellent and can be substituted for a small fee.
The best thing about the Heart and Crown is the service, friendly and helpful wait staff and bartenders make the atmosphere of this Ottawa Pub something special. Come for the excellent selection of beers on tap, but stay for the good vibes and good times.
