I sat down with Alexander Shapcott in Montreal, to find out what being a concierge with CorporateStays.com was really like.
Alexander Shapcott – Well our mission at CorporateStays.com is pretty simple, we’re here to make our guests feel completely comfortable. We want them to feel as comfortable when they are staying away from home as they would if they were at home, so our job is basically to make sure that happens.

AS – How we do that is we offer customer service throughout the stay from beginning to end. By staying in touch and getting to know our guests we have a chance to personalize our service. As I get to know our clients I’m able to make specific recommendations for what to do and see while they’re here.
AS – As a concierge service we do everything from suggesting some of the local sights that the guidebooks don’t list, to catering to the specific needs of our guests. For instance, sometimes a client will need a workspace and a printer, many of our apartments are already completely set up for business stays but if they are not we will provide the required elements.
Some clients will want to bring their own furniture or personal items to really make their space their own and we can accommodate that as well. It’s really about making our guests feel at home and completely comfortable in Montreal so that they can get to work, or to vacation, or whatever, without any hassle or inconvenience.
