"Angele Saucier and her team are great at satisfying my request. I like that they are very responsive. The location of the apartment is great, its near everything that I didn't need to have a car. The apartment though needs thorough cleaning especially the carpet, kitchen and bathroom. They already show wear and tear. Other than that I enjoyed my stay in Ottawa."

"Apartment was very nice, conveniently located and lots of space. It's great that there was a coffee maker, but a few complimentary coffees would have been appreciated - we had no way of knowing what kind of coffees to bring - Keurig, ground, coffee filters, etc. Having some tea bags and some water bottles would have been a nice touch. There was no ice cube tray in the freezer, and the towels were very thin. We also had trouble with the doors in unit 315 - the door to the main bedroom would not close properly and would open by itself. The concierge at the front was extremely nice and professional. Everything was explained at check-in and he always opened the door for us, with a smile. Lots of drawer space and extra towels were much appreciated. Overall, very good impression."

"I've always been used to using a hotel or a motel when travelling. As a parent with a child who competes at a high level, I'm now required to travel more and managing costs is important. When this option showed up on Trivago, it looked too good to be true but I thought it was worth a shot. Glad I took the chance. The apartment was clean and had a modern look. We had everything we needed from dish cleaning supplies to towels and toiletries (unexpected but a great touch). Being able to cook our own meals and relax in more of a home/condo setting was awesome. While being in a hotel and having maid and room service is a nice perk, it doesn't define a great stay. Plus for the cost to have those services, this option was way more cost effective. The location of 50 Laurier was perfect because it's right beside the Rideau Canal and walking distance to everything in the heart of Ottawa. Our contact on-site, Angele was prompt professional and pleasant. The security staff were great to us as well. I will definitely look at this option again regardless of the purpose of travel."

"There was very loud construction going out right outside my window until 11pm or midnight every night. Had I known about this ahead of time, I may have booked elsewhere. I was in town for a 2-day exam, and the noise impeded both my sleep and my studying. Also, I found the four pillows to be much too soft (and used a cushion instead). Having a selection of pillows with different levels of firmness would be ideal."

"There was no staff since it was weekend. I sent an email at help@cor.....upon our arrival on Friday late afternoon because there was nothing in the kitchen like dish soap, kitchen towel, dishtowel and nothing to wipe counters or table after eating. This is what unpleasant since we mostly ate at the apartment. The rest was satisfying but there were no linen in the bed just the big couette that was way to hot to sleep with just that. If this was corrected, I would gladly go back. Also, if there is construction on the side of the apartment that is designated, we should be informed beforehand since we took a weekend away from home to relax away from the kids and we were awaken at 6:30 saturday and sunday morning because of workers outside. thank you"

"Inform clients when construction is present during their stay. There was tremendous noise the entire stay which went overnight and was extremely loud right outside our apartment. It also took up 3 hours of our time trying to locate the building as roads were blocked off and we were not aware of this before hand. This caused a lot of stress finding parking and checking in."

I had requested some follow up with no response. The check in process was great however not sure why I paid a 150 cleaning fee when i completed the majority and no follow up on a request"

"I think it is unreasonable to ask your guests, who are paying $250/night, to take out the trash when they leave. It's actually insulting and leaves a bad taste to my otherwise satisfactory stay. Similarly, we shouldn't be responsible to load and start the dishwasher. I do that at home, so when I'm on vacation I want a break."

"My husband and I were traveling with another couple, so we booked a 2 bedroom suite. When we got up to our room we realized we were given a 1 bedroom suite instead of the 2 bedroom that we booked through Expedia. I contacted the staff and she started looking into the problem right away. There were no 2 bedroom suites left, so they gave us a second room to make up for the difference. They solved the problem within 30 minutes. She apologized sincerely for the mistake. I really appreciate the way that the problem was handled."

"Little things in the apartment could use some repair. The towel rack was broken in the ensuite bathroom and the light switch plate was broken, not a big deal but simple to fix to give a better visual appeal. The bed broke on us two separate times just by sitting on it, we had to fix it so that we could sleep in it. Maybe have your team make sure that the slats on the bed that hold the mattress are correctly placed on the frame so that the mattress doesn't collapse. We spent the rest of the weekend worried about moving in be and having it happen again. Other than that, the building is lovely and a perfect location to get to everything."

"I rented your facilities for a colleague while he was in Ottawa. I didn't go inside the apartment but he reported the tv did not work and when the concierge came to look at it he said there were many missing cables and there was nothing he could do. As a result he was without television for his 3 night stay. Although he did not require the second bedroom he reported there was no lighting at all in the room, and there was no cover on the ironing board. Overall, he reported the bed was comfortable and the location made it easy to get to the Market. Overall, not a glowing report."

"Our first rental at 50 Laurier was last Aug/Sept and was great! Unfortunately our 5 day stay Aug/Sept this year had problems. When we arrived the smoke detector was beeping intermittently and this continued for the first two nights, needing to be reset many times; this disturbed our sleep and our adult disabled daughter's sleep. Also, the carpet between the living room and bedroom was a little wet on our arrival and grew worse and discoloured during our stay (likely from the HVAC system)? When we arrived the aptmt was very cold and the setting was at 61-62; we turned this up to ~71 for the duration of our stay. The carpet became worse and smelly. I alerted Viocary Feliz the first morning after our arrival, and again by email during our stay, with photos. I am a cancer pt and was very concerned about the possibility of mould with the wet carpet during our stay. I emailed Viocary Sept 4th requesting in good faith some kind of compensation for the inconvenience during our stay. Waving the cleaning fee or perhaps a free night or two would bring us back for future rentals. Our son is in university in Ottawa and we plan visits for the next few years.
